Log pod Mangartom is a village located in the northwestern part of Slovenia in the municipality of Bovec.

The village is 10 km away from Bovec, 20 km from Tarvisio (Tarvisio, IT) and 120 km from Ljubljana.

There are two ways to get to Log pod Mangart:

- from Bovec,  
- from the Ljubljana basin via Rateč (Kranjska Gora) to the Predel pass and descent into the valley below Mangart.
