Fort Hermann is part of the stronghold complex of the Kluze Fortress. It was built in the rising ground above the Kluze Fortress. It got the name after the captain Johann Hermann von Hermannsdorf. He was the commander of the Predel fortress in the time of the Napoleon wars.

You can reach it through pass Predil (Italy) or through Bovec. It is perfect for families or couples to enjoy their time in the nature.

The house is cosy and it has everything you need. Downstairs there is fully equipped kitchen and living room, where you can spend some quality time together cooking, watching a movie, playing cards... There is also a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one with two single beds and two with double beds. Upstairs you can find a bathroom with a tub. There is nothing more relaxing than a soothing bath after a long walk or all afternoon skiing.

 

Close by you can visit ecological farm Černuta. There you can taste and buy their homemade sheep cheese and delicious curd.
There is plenty to do in the valley: cycling, skiing, zipline, rafting, basketball, cross-country skiing, hiking through the valley, gorges, mountains and enjoy the scenery.
